Fans have worked harder through the years to keep her legacy alive. Selena was the Tejano artist who was fatally shot dead by a gunshot accident caused a Latino reaction that can be compared with the response to the deaths of Elvis Presley and John Lennon's death. The singer was extremely popular throughout Latino communities throughout North America her music crossed cultural boundaries to touch people young as well as old.
